This meditation was special because it was just between my sister and I and our God, and so we named the track after her "Lauren's Sabbath." It's also interesting because we used it to reflect on this notion of how justification works, "Jesus said, "Abraham rejoiced at the thought of seeing my day; he saw it and was glad. Before Jesus came, God credited Jesus' righteousness to those who believed God's promise and looked forward in hope. Today, God credits Jesus' righteousness to those who look back by faith to the life, death and resurrection of Jesus Christ. In God's sight, 'Jesus was the Lamb who was slain from the creation of the world.' The Cross of Christ stands in the center of time." We pondered this idea for this particular meditation and did this one a little differently than the others, as you are hearing the recording being played both forward and backward at the same time, delving into the notion that time doesn't work for God the way it does for us, and into the idea of his grand foresight and omnipotence, being able to see all things all ways for what they really are all the time. Praise Him.
